Olympic Charleroi has secured the services of Toshio Lake. The 24-year-old forward has signed a contract with the Belgian club, adding an ambitious and experienced player to their squad for the upcoming season.
Lake, who came through the youth ranks of Feyenoord and gained professional experience at Fortuna Sittard and TOP Oss, joins from Greek side PAS Lamia. After two challenging seasons in Greece, the attacker is determined to make his mark at Olympic Charleroi.
“I’m happy to be here and looking forward to having a great season,” Lake said. “Olympic Charleroi is a club with strong ambitions, and I needed this move to further develop myself. After two tough years in Greece, it feels good to be back closer to home. Hopefully this is the start of a new chapter, and from here I can take the next step in my career.”
Recently promoted to the Challenger Pro League, Olympic Charleroi is aiming for both stability and growth. In Lake, the club brings in a forward who is hungry to prove himself and continue building his career. His choice for Charleroi reflects both his ambition and his belief in the club’s vision.
Toshio Lake’s arrival not only strengthens the squad on the pitch, but also symbolizes a fresh start for the player and a strategic move for Olympic Charleroi.
