Toshio Lake started his football career in the youth academy of SBV Excelsior and made the move to Feyenoord in 2010. For no less than 11 years, he developed within the Feyenoord youth academy, where he achieved impressive performances and showed his talent. Not only at club level, he also proved his worth in the Dutch under-17 team. He played seven matches for the team and scored a goal. One of his highlights was his participation in the Netherlands under-17 team, which managed to win the 2018 UEFA European Championship for under-17 players.

Lake made his Eredivisie debut for Fortuna Sittard and immediately made a big impression. He scored the winning goal and gave an assist, immediately proving his worth. This caught the attention of the football world and confirmed his immense potential.

In the summer of 2021, Lake signed with Fortuna Sittard and began his adventure with the nder-21 squad. His breakthrough came quickly, however, when he made his debut as a substitute for Fortuna Sittard on 14 August 2021. In an exciting match against FC Twente, he scored a goal and provided an assist, resulting in a 2-1 victory. To continue his development, Lake was loaned to MVV Maastricht for the rest of the 2021 season, where he could gain more experience in professional football. Once again, he experienced a dream start at his new club. On his starting debut at MVV, he immediately became man of the match against ADO Den Haag, scoring two goals and an assist. Last season, Lake played for TOP Oss.

Besides his football passion, Lake has another love: music. In his spare time, he makes rap music, mainly in Rotterdam. The lyrics of his music are about his personal experiences in life. This is his outlet and passion besides football.
