Fouzi Mesaoudi, born on May 27, 1981 in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands, is a Dutch football player of Moroccan descent who has spent his career as a midfielder.
Mesaoudi made his debut at Sparta and then played for HFC Haarlem. In the 2005/06 season, Mesaoudi aimed to make a move to British football. He has been involved with clubs such as Chelsea FC, Fulham FC, Southampton FC, Peterborough United, and Scottish Falkirk FC. Eventually, he signed a professional contract with the latter.
In 2000, he played two matches for the Dutch national futsal team under 21, after which Mesaoudi embarked on his journey as a (youth) coach. Since 2018, Mesaoudi has been a coach at Sparta Rotterdam. He has trained various teams including O14, O15, O16, and Jong Sparta Rotterdam. During Henk Fraser's tenure, he frequently served as an assistant coach for the first team. Additionally, alongside his role as a youth coach, Mesaoudi has worked as a head coach for senior teams at clubs such as COAL, FC Zoetermeer, and IJsselmonde.
